At 42 years old, I have started real estate as a strategy to retire. I am a pastor of a church full time but do real estate on the side. I love my wife, two boys, and the church I pastor. Real estate is an avenue to bless them and provide for them. Experience: I currently have two properties that I have bought, rehabbed, and rented. I am working on the rehab of the their. I have acquired all three of these in 18 months. Real Estate Goals: My goal is to acquire 10 properties and pay off all the debt on those properties so that I can retire. Retirement for me would be me being able to work for the church I pastor without having to have them pay me. Other men in the Bible worked so that they were not a burden on their church to take care of them (1Thess. 2:9). This would be my goal. Currently Seeking: I am always looking for good deals in the Northeast Ohio area.
