Zach Griffin

I am the Founder and Managing Member of GTX Holdings, a private real estate investment firm. I am a corporate attorney by background and look to draw upon my legal experience and finance education to build GTX into a sustainable real estate investment firm that provides tremendous value to the communities it invests in, the tenants it houses, and the investors it serves. As a corporate attorney, I spent seven years advising clients on complex global transactions and general business law matters. I started my legal career at Jones Day, primarily advising clients on M&A and equity financing transactions. After three years at Jones Day, I joined the in-house legal team at Magic Leap, Inc., a fast-growing tech startup in the augmented reality/virtual reality industry. At Magic Leap, I continued to work on complex corporate transactions, and I also advised the leadership team on various facilities and operational matters and helped negotiate partnerships with two global telecommunications carriers. I was first drawn to real estate investing in early 2015, and I started spending my free time educating myself on the various aspects of investing in multifamily properties. In 2018, my wife, Tara, and I took the plunge and purchased our first multifamily property in St. Louis, Missouri. In December of 2019, I decided to wade deeper into real estate investing and leave Magic Leap to focus on building GTX Holdings on a full-time basis. I graduated from the University of Florida in 2010, where I majored in finance, and Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2013. When I'm not working, I love chasing around my 1 year old son with my wife, golfing with friends, and watching Florida Gator football.
