Zach Rynders

I’m Zach, a real estate investor, real estate agent, and Director of Operations at R2 Studios Architecture. Assisted living has become the focus of our business and the direction we’re taking our own investing. My wife and I founded R2 Studios Architecture in 2020. Over the past three years, our firm has helped with 245 assisted living projects. I oversee operations, conduct our site visits, and lead our marketing. That puts me in properties regularly, working with owners and operators to understand their goals and the challenges involved in converting a property into a residential assisted living home. Our own real estate experience includes rental properties, house hacking, and hands-on renovations. We’re now transitioning our portfolio toward properties we can convert and lease to assisted living operators. We’re also exploring new construction and commercial opportunities. After years of helping clients pursue this model, we’re ready to put that experience to work in our own investments. What interests me most is how the pieces fit together: finding the right property, understanding what it needs, and making the project work for both the owner and the operator. Our experience with architecture and real estate gives us a practical perspective on those decisions. Outside of work, we’re raising our kids and continuing the renovation of our own home. I’m here to connect with other investors, assisted living operators, and potential investment and financing partners. I enjoy talking through deals, finding opportunities, and helping fellow investors buy and sell properties. If you’re exploring assisted living or have an opportunity worth discussing, I’d love to connect.
