So what will you do on the 3 Day Weekend???

As a real estate investor I like 3 day weekends, holidays, bad weather, etc. Because all the wannabe investors are off making excuses, spending money or watching tv.  I simply love less competition.

I have a list of 10 Properties to see, 3 agent meetings (two of them brand new) and I have a couple of my own properties to walk through.

My best deals come when other investors are off on the lake, partying or other such activity.

That said I am sure I will find a couple of hours to relax but my goal is to buy real estate so I can have a comfortable future and thus I will sacafice this 3 day weekend with work.

You are either in or out in this business no half way about it

Good Investing

  1. nice post...i can't even stand to think of 3 days away from real estate..how boring!! :)

  2. Michael, I agree that new business owners / investors have to put more time in. It takes a while to become established and be sure that your business will succeed and be able to grow. When you learn the ropes it gets easier.

  3. Yes, no rest for the weary. As an agent, I'm showing property, meetings with investors and a couple of listing appointments.

  4. Have a great weekend Michael and Charles!

  5. I look forward to the day I work for myself. I still hold a full time job so I need to use the down time to find more deals. Obviously my post was more for the new investor than the seasoned professionals. Both of you have earned the right to take time off when ever you want. That is the goal. Enjoy the 60 person party and time with the family.

  6. I'll spend two of the days with family, but will be working on a basement apartment rehab Monday. When you work for yourself there are long work hours and taking a some time out for family is a good idea when you can.

  7. Ha, you workaholic! I'm going to try to recover and enjoy my family and 60 guests on Sunday evening. I'll try not to think about RE too much, but I suspect I'll fail.
