How to keep an LLC in good standing?

What are some things I need to do to keep an LLC in good standing? I know I'll check with my state (Michigan) for specifics, but wondering if anyone can clue me in.

- Do financial statements / bank account statements provided?

- Separate tax forms or can I put it on my personal tax form with a Schedule C?

- Anything else?

Thanks!

Do you mean in good standing with the State or Federal Government? They both really only care about you paying your taxes and filing timely. I'm no accountant or tax attorney but from what you wrote it seems you have the just of it. Basically keep your company out of trouble with the man. :-)

Kudos,

Mary

Here in Utah, I have a yearly renewal for my LLC and I take care of my taxes. That's about it.

As always, a cpa or lawyer would be able to answer this with accurate requirements for your state.

Good luck with your business!
