Ok many people know me as a successful (and sometimes crazy) real estate investor. What I done often talk about is 2009 resulted in use losing our empire we had built. There tons of reasons, why, bottom line it happened and we learnt from it. Now 5 years out of Bankruptcy we are again looking at new construction projects and back in the flipping game. It wasn't easy, it required work, calculated risk, and money (but not much). I am not a guru to say It happened in my sleep, in fact many sleepless nights working to pull things back together. Listen to this on the Joe Fairless Best Ever Show to find on my little known niche that we honed in on. @Seth Williams I bet you will appreciate this, as one of those fellow crazy land guys.

Thanks for sharing. I got killed in the crash in Virginia and swore off real estate. And then I got to know my expert partner in San Antonio, and I'm doing very well. This time I am doing it right - safe real estate that only goes UP in demand in a crash, usually bought in cash, and only under the guidance of an expert.

Thanks for sharing this. To someone like me that's new to REI, this further makes the point that I now realize that there are so many opportunities to choose from and study. The podcast in the link was very informative.
