We have a house that needed the vinyl siding cleaned up. Had a guy powerwash it and the next day it looks hazy. I can almost wipe the haze off with my finger but not really sure what it is I'm wiping up? Anyone ever powerwashed vinyl siding, tips, ideas, maybe just soap before washing next time? Thanks

we have powerwashed quite a few things, including siding.

That *haze* may be a soap or mixture they add to the power wash. I know on our pressure washer, there is a separate tank for soap.

We normally just pressure wash with water, and its never left any type of hazzy/weird after substance!

Try contacting the people that did it to see if they add something to the water.

Apparently they used straight water. I wonder if hard water may have been a factor, this is the first house we've had with that particular water service provider.
