I'm surprised that we don't have a thread on the NBA Finals. I've been enjoying all the games this year. The series have all been very competitive!
My prediction - Lakers v. Celtics --> Lakers in 6
Anyone else? You guys enjoying the playoffs?

LAKERS in 5 ........ :superman:
not completely impressed by the Celtics Yet....... they may win.......
BUT THE LAKERS will EAT THEM ALIVE
Lakers vs Spurs
Lakers takes it in 6 games
Celtics vs Pistons
Celtics in 7 games
Lakers vs Celtics
Lakers in 5 games.
With the way Celtics are playing on the road, they will lose to the Lakers real fast.
normally dont watch the NBA much but this years playoffs have been very interesting.
Lakers in 7.. Kobe is tooooooo much
Well, I got the finals right . . . now if the Lake Show can pull off a 6 game victory.
I guess the show starts tonight!

First off, Utah should have beat the Lakers, but since they didn't the Lakers are going to win it all. Even though the Celtics won tonight, they came out of the weak East and the Lakers will eventually prevail.
Garnett looked pretty sick yesterday . . . lucky for the Celtics that Pierce didn't stay hurt. This is going to be a TOUGH series.

After last week's trip to NY I lost track of the games. I know Lakers and Celtics are in the Finals. I gotta get back on track. The next game is on Sunday 6am PDT, correct? Thats what nba.com says.. ;-)
GO GO GO GO GO GO GO LAKERSSSSSS!!!! :-)
Have a Great Weekend.
Cheers
Ram
To much west coast bias here. I say Celtics in 6. They will pick up one in LA and close it out at home in Game 6.
After 2 games, I'm going to change my tune to Celtics in 6 as well.

yeah well, I have been going for the C's the entire time, just never posted, so can't say I changed.
Its official. Celtics in 6!!
I have been a Celtic fan my whole life, and I am glad to see that they have won the championship. Its only been since 1986, since their last championship.
Congrats to the Celtics, but I am a tad annoyed about something. Saying it was 22 years since they last one, such a long time blah blah.
Don't forget, the Red Sox just won, the Patriots have been huge (although they cheated and choked)...
But here in Chicago, we have the Cubs, 100 years of misery and counting... (I have my fingers crossed this year, but know better than to get to excited).
You guys are the best in baseball, Ryan. This is your year! (have you heard that before, Cubs fans?)

Ryan
We've had a winner in baseball recently. Remember 2005?
GO WHITE SOX
And the south side still can't fill the stadium!
All I want is an all Chicago World Series. If that happens I may need to take a few days off of class to come back up and watch this city go NUTS.
Dino,
Are you smoking crack? If both Chicago teams were to make the Series, each game would be a home game for the CUBS, so not sure how the Sox would win it.
Keep dreaming! The Sox would still win it all. See you in Merrillville tomorrow night.
