Hope this helps. Because when I found it, I was literally floored.

Here is something that I have been using for a few months to sell my properties on Craigslist. We all know that you can paste HTML code into craigslist or at least I think we all know. Well what I have been doing is loading property pictures up to Photobucket.com. I then open a TEXT file and paste each picture code into the Text file. What I do then is change the PATH of the website to my own property site. Let me know if this is foreign. I then save the text file and bingo I have my ad on Craigslist. I have about 9 pictures that I can paste right into craigslist. It saves a ton of time.

If you go to photobucket.com and create an account you will see that there are ways to have your picture in a HTML code. That code can be copied and paste into Craigslist. That will show a picture that is actually hosted at photobucket. Another investor/TECH HEAD. Showed me away to allow the picture to be clicked through to my website as noted in the second code "jonbuyahome.com"

I am by no means a WEB person. But this is what I have learned and it has saved me a ton of time posting ads and actually making a nice presentation.

OK. Now I get it! Postlets.com Has that same feature where you copy and paste the HTML at a site like Craigslist. That's saaaavy!

Jessee....if you only knew how I learned it and how many times it was shown to me. When I say I am not a TECH head I mean it. I can surf online and so forth. But a lot of what is behind the curtian like this website always amazes me.

To expand on your idea, you can also embed code for slideshows and video. Upload all of your photos to these sites (bubbleshare, slide.com) and they will automatically convert your photos into slidehsows/ virtual tours for free. All you have to do is copy the code and paste it into your Craigslist ads.

As a PS - if your a heavy user of CL you will need to change up your URL (the one pointing to your site) with pointers or URL shorteners cuz a URL can't be posted to many times before your ad is ghosted.

You can also create a postlets ad, copy and paste the HTML code into a CL ad. Seems easier if you do it that way.

Here's my surefire way to get a Picture with a Link to your main website posted on Craiglist.

The Following is the Coding I Use - Similar to Jonathan's. Let me explain what each element of the HTML does... if anyone cares to know...

The <center> </center> tags are to place your image in the direct middle of the web page. It make's it a bit easier to read and more professional.

The <a href="URL"> </a> Tag are known as ANCHOR tags. These tags create, well an Anchor - to be a link or a position on a web page. When you put <a href="URL"> </a> you are creating an Anchor to a web address. Whatever is IN BETWEEN the anchor tags <a> and </a> will be the Link that goes there. You can put text or in our case, a picture.

So now, we go to our <img src="URL"> tag. This is basically just an image tag, for any HTML image. We place this in between our anchor tags to make our image the anchor and thus, it becomes a link.

So to top it all off - Heres coding for you guys. Just copy and paste your own Pictures hosted wherever and your own website address.

That was the most basic. I left out the width and other stuff, but that right there will pretty much get your picture uploaded and link it to your website of choice. Just make sure you know the image url of your image. If you have a bad image link, Craiglist will remove it.
