Do you wanna give up? Do you wanna give in? Don't give up on your dream!

Have you ever thought of giving up in RE or life? What kind of life do you live?

I dare you to chase your dreams and never give up.

In no particular order.

I have nothing to do with/nor am affiliated with these groups/people.

There are many more I just want people to understand success is hard but it's worth it. REI isn't all about making money, it's about living your life and and having fun at the same time!

I don't wanna categorize this in some forum post that nobody will see... I'm not saying these are the end all be all, but why not have some reference to help people in need of change?

It's up to you to change the world.

Thanks for sharing.

A little more motivation.

Me at one year in the business = not one deal closed

two years in = 17 deals, a fourplex and my own house

Three years = Full time investor

Hello @Nathan Paisley

Great post! We have to remember that anything worth having will not come easy! I walked away from RE investing after I "failed" over 10 years ago. After lots of reading and having a plan to achieve my investing goals I dove back in 3 years ago. This year has been my best yet! (on my 14th flip this year) If I stayed on the sidelines and never took action again I would still be running a business that I hated living unfulfilled!

Never quit! Stay focused! Take action daily!

@Tim G. Thanks! I just think sometimes being in this business and being on BP, we can easily get caught up in the numbers and nuances of REI that we forget how much fun life and REI CAN be!

We've all had our struggles (some more than others) but the most important thing for us is to continue to push through and never give up. I hope all BP members realize it's a lot easier to give up then it is to fight for what you believe in.

Remember, time is of the essence! :)

Thanks for this post Nathan. I truly believe when you want to accomplish your goals and set out to do so, it can be hard, painful, and you will get beat up every step of the way. In order to complete your goals some times you need that extra push to keep moving forward and it helps to have resources to refer to.  I also don't have any association with these videos, but I would like to share some that have given me that push when I needed it.

Great Post.

With Wholesaling having a estimated 95% washout rate (No I can't prove this). I think you posted this in the right forum.

Having taken massive action wholesaling in the last two months I'm reminded of the flywheel principle. It's not one event or big bang that propels a business to success, it's little actions over time. Like pushing a flywheel. With constant pressure over time you build momentum and soon enough it moves with almost no effort.

@Tim G. Thanks for sharing your story. It's encouraging because it shows that it can be done.

@Jon Moore That's exactly why I posted it in this forum, it's for my peeps :)

I truly believe wholesaling is the easiest GURU selling strategy out there...

The fact of the matter is, IT WORKS but most give up for a multitude of reasons, mostly because it's not as easy as everyone preaches. Unfortunately 99% of people give up before they even get started... but life in general isn't easy! If being successful, being healthy, being happy was easy EVERYONE WOULD BE DOING IT!

Live long and prosper.

It's impossible to wholesale in MA. People don't respond to bandit signs now matter how many you put up. People will literally die in their homes than sell their house. That's how stagnant this garbage state is.

MA in a nutshell.

-A bunch of dying geriatrics who are too senile/delusional to understand that their 1900 homes can't sell for 2X the market price

-Delusional scumbags who are in denial that their houses are in foreclosure and would rather file bankruptcy than make some money and get out of the ugly situation they put themselves in

-or the usual idiot home seller who refuses to go down on their price even after failing to sell their home for over 3 years.

Wow, the motivational angle and the disillusioned in the same thread.

To be more successful, lower your expectations!

Don't worry, Be happy!

Tip of the day, if you want to go into business, pick a business you understand and know a lot about.

Working with the infirmed the elderly or bull headed folks takes skills beyond the widget your dealing with, if you don't have those skills, find the young, average open minded types that are gullible, you may have better luck. That, or find a different farming area.

Sounds to me that you're getting the success you deserve.
