Story Time With Jeff. episode 2.

I have long looked at real estate as a series of stories. When I evaluate potential deals I often look for the story before I crunch the numbers. (I discuss this in the blog: Tell Me A Story.) Every once in a while the person selling the deal will miss a potential story associated with their deal. Sometimes that possibility becomes the reason I purchase the deal. Those deals often become my favorite stories.

I have been sharing some of my stories here on this blog for nearly three years (Confessions of a Private Lender. An Updated Chronology.) I have been sharing them in person at my local REIA meetings for longer than that. I recently had the opportunity to combine another favorite activity, the pursuit, collecting, and drinking of diverse whiskies, with discussions of real estate on a podcast. There is nothing I like much more than drinking whisky while telling real estate stories. The founder of one of my local REIAs has agreed to record a series of podcasts which will cover my favorite whiskies and my favorite stories. Whisky is consumed during these podcasts and they are not edited. If profanity offends you do not tune in.

On the first podcast I was joined by a recent partner with whom I was celebrating the completion of our first deal. The deal was profitable and the podcast was well received. This episode continues that discussion. Here is a link if you would like to have a listen: Story Time With Jeff. episode 2. The first episode can be found here: Story Time With Jeff. episode 1

Please let me know what you think of the episode, if you have any questions or suggestions, and if you would like me to post links to further episodes on this blog. Thank you.
