Currently moving my 15+ units away from Sage door. Some people working here are great but all investors need to do their homework and be fully aware of the fees in the agreement - utility management fee 200/unit - 6 month renewal contracts and early cancellation fees (you have to pay for the full 6 months if you choose to leave them even with 30 days notice) - inspection fee 150/visit (unless you use their maintenance team) so you’re stuck deciding if this fee is worth looking elsewhere if their maintenance team doesn’t have capacity for a few days. Time is money to me - vacant unit fee 50/unit per month The agreement also states that they can release any property within 24 hours. So you cannot walk away from them but they can drop you anytime (which they did). This is the worst nightmare for any investor. EDIT: I work full-time and didn’t have the capacity to move my property manager until it just got really bad. The worst feeling as an investor is to have a total lost of trust. This is ofc just my take and others may have a different experience

Worst experience! This agency was not at all helpful or understanding of situations. I feel like they were bias as well and just didn’t want to rent to me even after I ask if there were other options I could try. Would not recommend at all. You gave me two unrealistic options, the final say is by the management companies manger that being said that person could’ve reached out to me to see if an agreement could’ve been made I’m very aware of my situation and just want someone understanding to hear me out everyone deserves a second chance it’s life.

My experience has been great, it’s been a little over a year with Sage Door. They manage 3 of my properties for me and each has come with its own challenges which Sage Door has handled masterfully. Angela is absolutely wonderful to work with - she is always super responsive and provides thorough answers to all of my questions. Angela is a pleasure to work with and I appreciate her so much! I highly recommend Sage Door. I’ve tried two other property management companies in the KC area, both were just OK. Much happier with Sage Door and I found them on Facebook in a KC investor group, from which Sage Door was highly recommended!

Sage Door has managed three dozen of my rental properties for two years now and I've been thoroughly impressed with their professionalism and attention to my tenants' needs. Maintenance is on-call for any issues and prices are just as good as when I was responsible for hiring everything out myself. I am really enjoying having them take care of my properties and letting me be almost completely hands-off.

The team at Sage Door Property Management has been a breath of fresh air! I own several single family homes in various locations across the KC Metro area. I have been through 3 different Property Management companies and have had no luck. Sage Door is my 4th and final stop! I've been with them a little over a year now, and couldn't be happier with the communication, consistency, urgency, and efficiency that they provide! Highly recommend!
