Chris was Outstanding ! He came by and did some maintenance work. He arrived on time, diagnosed the problem immediately, and completed the repair efficiently. He was respectful of my home, cleaned up after himself, and made sure I understood what was fixed. Definitely one of the best maintenance experiences I’ve had.

Sage Door Property Management is the perfect example of professionalism. Their team is intentional in everything they do and truly makes you feel seen, heard, and respected. The staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, and customer service is excellent with quick response times.

I've been with SageDoor for years now, they've always been quick to respond, and very informative. Ive never had an issue or question they couldn't help with. Unlike some other shady rental companies, they show the best interest for the tenant and that speaks volume. The maintenance is always very quick and responsive! Which is a plus if something threatening your necessities comes up, they are very quick to act on it. My property manager Angela rocks! It's a pleasure talking to someone who looks out for you and your family! Not only that but SageDoor is very welcoming and loves to see the tenants grow!

Currently moving my 15+ units away from Sage door. Some people working here are great but all investors need to do their homework and be fully aware of the fees in the agreement
- utility management fee 200/unit
- 6 month renewal contracts and early cancellation fees (you have to pay for the full 6 months if you choose to leave them even with 30 days notice)
- inspection fee 150/visit (unless you use their maintenance team) so you’re stuck deciding if this fee is worth looking elsewhere if their maintenance team doesn’t have capacity for a few days. Time is money to me
- vacant unit fee 50/unit per month
The agreement also states that they can release any property within 24 hours. So you cannot walk away from them but they can drop you anytime (which they did). This is the worst nightmare for any investor.
EDIT: I work full-time and didn’t have the capacity to move my property manager until it just got really bad. The worst feeling as an investor is to have a total lost of trust. This is ofc just my take and others may have a different experience

My experience has been great, it’s been a little over a year with Sage Door. They manage 3 of my properties for me and each has come with its own challenges which Sage Door has handled masterfully. Angela is absolutely wonderful to work with - she is always super responsive and provides thorough answers to all of my questions. Angela is a pleasure to work with and I appreciate her so much! I highly recommend Sage Door. I’ve tried two other property management companies in the KC area, both were just OK. Much happier with Sage Door and I found them on Facebook in a KC investor group, from which Sage Door was highly recommended!
