I also learned that Exeter would keep my funds in separate accounts in my name, which is much safer than what most escrow companies and QI’s do. (Google “Land America 1031 bankruptcy” to see the ultimate worst case scenario of an escrow company or QI simply putting your funds in their own accounts.)
