How do I get started in Los Angeles? I know nobody there.

Can anybody tell me what it's like being a real estate broker in Los Angeles and what you think is the best way to get started? I don't know anybody there with the exception of my friend's parents in Glendale.

I'm certain that real estate investing is what I want to do and I aim to also be a broker because I feel it will help me with the investment side of the business. I also want a career that empowers me to truly serve my client while allowing me to achieve financial freedom if I work hard. I'm a super loyal person and love being of service to customers.

Something slightly unique about me is that I was born and raised in Japan and I have always done very well with Japanese people. Being fluent in the language helps but they also have different norms and expectations when it comes to service. I've heard that there is a large Japanese community in L.A. but I'm not sure what that niche is like and if that is an area I would be able to serve best. Just throwing some ideas around.

Thank you for reading. Any clues? Any advice? All comments are welcome!

Smiles :)

Allan
