What to look for in a real estate brokerage firm?

I just passed my Florida state real estate exam yesterday! I'm excited about the future and beginning the process of looking for a broker.

Any recommendations on what to look for in a brokerage? I am more interested in property management than I am in selling homes. So definitely will be looking for a broker that offers excellent property management, but other than that I am not sure what to look for. Thanks for your input!

Since you are interested in the property management side, see if you can find a broker that where you can work part time for their PM.

Hi Joy

first congratulations on being a FL licensee!  I'm not familiar where Fleming Island is but, give some thought as to whether they have a larger portion of seasonal rentals; foreign clients ( great if you speak other languages); full complexes or a mixture of all the above.  Your goal is to be able to learn management from as many of the sub groups and then develop your niche.
