Is it a good idea to buy properties in small towns? Would real estate investors be saturated do to it being a small town?

Exactly!!! Supply and demand concept. I see so much opportunity. Lots of vacant homes but I have to do more homework about the community.

Depends on the town, but it can be more difficult to fill vacancies, raise rent, and see appreciation. In the long term if you aren't careful the town could experience population decline, this could be the case if the town has one main employer that goes out of business.
