Made a 33% return on my properties

My wife and I were fortunate to buy a house before the market exploded and then imploded in the early 2000’s. We eventually owned three properties for about ten years At one time I had a rental bringing in a 60% return every month. Last year we sold our primary residence which we bought for $300k and then sold it for $500k. We sold another rental to a friend who couldn’t buy a house because he was a VA loan. In all we made a 33% return on those properties. We were going to buy another house but prices were too high. We banked our money and moved into our rental property which saved us in monthly mortgage costs. Now we are sitting and waiting for multi-family deals which are starting to pop up once again.
