Hi,
I am interested in possibly converting my common area power over to solar, depending on costs. This is a 4-unit, flat roof building with great sun exposure. I am only looking to power my common area, which would include a small laundry room (gas dryer), some lighting, and a security camera system. Usage is around 135 kWh per month. Looking for someone who can advise on (i) equipment, (ii) any government rebates/ incentives, and (iii) ultimately perform or sub-contract the installation.

I would definitely look into the costs. Look up "Solar Savings Calculator" on Google and put it in the address. It might not be totally accurate because you aren't doing it for the entire building.
When I looked into it, my first issue was I didn't see much savings considering you have the payments on the panels plus if it 100% doesn't cover the electricity bill, then you have to pay the difference. The second is the best time to install a solar panel is with a brand new roof. It costs literally thousands of dollars to remove the solar panel, reroof, and put the panels back.
I will be revisiting the panels once I need to replace the roof and see if it is worth it.
