Is it worth getting the quiet title?

Is it worth it to get a quiet title on an old abandoned tax deed property that needs a lot of repair work? I was planning on wholesaling it.

No one in their right mind would pay you what it’s worth without a clear title.

This would be my first time buying a tax deed property. If I get just a title search done and found no one else has title to the property and no debt attached to it, would I still need a quiet title done?

When you go to sell it it will have to have a clean title or you will have to sell it for a discount.
