I am buying my new property for a house hack and looking for good recommendations on morgage broker or banks and inspectors. Does anyone have recommendations for me? Anything you can share would be super helpful!
Hey Jerusalem — congrats on the upcoming house hack, that’s exciting.
For Atlanta, here are a couple solid directions you can go:
Mortgage Broker:
Look for someone who regularly works with investors and house hackers, not just retail buyers. Investor‑friendly brokers can usually structure things better around future rental income, DSCR options, and multi‑unit scenarios. If you want, I can point you toward a few who are active in the Atlanta market.
Inspectors:
Atlanta has a lot of older housing stock, so make sure you're using an inspector who's thorough with foundations, drainage, and HVAC. I can share a couple inspectors who consistently do good work for investors and STR operators in the area.
If you want recommendations based on the specific neighborhood or property type you’re targeting, I’m happy to help.
I'm a mortgage broker and I work with a lot of house hackers and investor clients. I'd be happy to help point you in the right direction and answer any financing questions you have along the way.
@Jerusalem Zewolday, Taylor Trupia is your guy and does an excellent job working with primary home buyers here in ATL. I also have a few preferred inspector recommendations depending on the area and property type. If you’re interested, feel free to shoot me a DM, and I’ll send over their contact information.
@Jerusalem ZewoldayCongrats on your upcoming house hack purchase. I am a real estate broker and mortgage broker in Atlanta, so feel free to reach out if you have any questions about finding the right property or exploring the best financing options for your goals.
I’d recommend Georgia Pine Home Inspections. Very thorough, honest, and hardworking team. Had good experiences with them and personally know the owner.
