Hey y'all! I house-hacked my primary residence in 2022 (2 bed/2bath) and am looking for an investor-friendly CPA who can guide me through some tax strategies to decrease my taxable income and help me file my taxes this year. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

     Hi Diego,

When looking for a CPA, you'll find that many of them are set up to serve you virtually.  What is often more important than location is finding a CPA that is highly knowledgeable and focused on YOUR area of investment and goals.  While there can be great CPAs in your neighborhood, it can be tough to find them.  However, there are several CPAs here on BiggerPockets that are real estate focused and are much more easily found.

    Best of luck to you!

Hi @Linda Weygant, thanks so much for that insight! I'll look around and keep my options open to someone who's not local to San Diego as well.
