Seeking referrals and general estimates to replace these six basement steps and the handrail leading down into the basement.

    Before you start, be aware that you will need to get a permit and build the new stairs to current code. This might mean increasing the rise or run of the steps....which may mean increasing the overall length of the whole staircase. Which might bring it too close to that wall.

    Don't mean to alarm you, just looking at it with Contractor's eyes....
