I passed the Virginia Real Estate Salesperson exam last year but I was also laid off from my full time role and couldn't afford the new agency fees and membership. I am looking to move from my career in human resources in to real estate full time. I am a notary and have taken my title insurance producer exam as well.

Hi Ayana! Genuinely sorry to heat about the hardship. It's difficult out here for everyone and I hope you know it's not an indictment on yourself. I would recommend reaching out to large real estate teams who may be looking to train someone to their liking, so to speak. I think you sound ambitious enough and would be an asset to anyone looking for help. It may be more of an admin or transaction coordinator role, but it's steady work and you could grow it into a career.
