Houston Rehab and Handyman Referrals?

Frank Szymanski

Posted

Hello all,

Looking to see if anyone has any referrals for different type of rehab work for long term rental properties in the Houston region?

Looking for all types of work including but not limited to:
- Full rehabs, plumbers, electricians, roofers, drywall, painters, flooring, general handyman, A/C work...etc.

Thanks in advance!

Frank

@Frank Szymanski thanks for the post.  Always great to hear from a fellow Texan.  Now, the best place to get any type of vendor is from a referral.  And I understand that's what you were trying to do here with this post - but we just want to ask this same question to investors in our market.  That way, some yahoo up in Dallas isn't telling you what the best plumber is.  Other investors in Houston would though.  I mean, nothing is foolproof...but that's a good way to start.

Try some local real estate meetup groups. There's many in Houston. Meetup.com is a good resource for those but some of the groups will also post here on Bigger Pockets Marketplace too. Even facebook might have some good local groups for you. Some of those facebook groups have thousands of members. Eventbrite too. Go visit with the people in person.  Or facebook is virtual I guess.  But post locally for this. That’s the best bet.
