REI Meetings or Mentor

Hi, I have been doing research into house flipping on and off for years. I just relocated to the Atlanta area and I would like to attend some REI meetings or possibly find a mentor with intentions of preparing myself to flip a house of my own. I have money to bring to the table once I am ready to find a hard money or private lender. I would just like to have some real life experiences before hand through a mentor and possibly find a partner through attending meet ups.

I currently have PM experience, with my most recent being remodel construction of commercial spaces 200,00+sqft. I do not get much experience in the construction aspect of my current work as I am a female and it seems the males get to have all of the meetings and interactions with the GCs. I mostly keep track of ordering, staffing, progress, builds/moves of fixtures inside the building and paperwork but I do have an understanding of phasing and timelines if any of that is useful.

Hi Aaliyah,  I'm part of a not-for-profit group, called GAREIA and I also run a few investor meetings.  Feel free to reach out if you'd like to learn more;  we've got a meeting coming up this Friday.  I would advise caution if you're paying for Mentorship; there are enough free or cheaper (less $500/year) resources that can benefit you before you start shelling out thousands to a "Guru".
