New investor with a full gut rehab ahead of me. Looking for an experienced investor willing to sanity-check my numbers and guide me through my first project.

@Takayla Carter thanks for posting here.  And all of our alarms are going off.  Now, I can't tell what you mean by "new"....Is it your 10th and you are just saying that you are still new?  Or is this your first deal ever.  If it's the latter...alarms are going off louder.  So, if you are needing an experienced investor to check your numbers I need you to get with an investor in your market (or the market of your home).  Again, I can't tell where the property is located either but wherever it is, we want someone that is familiar with the market, the permitting process, the city/county inspections, etc.  Might be good to just have everything vetted.

So, let's try some local real estate meetup groups. Meetup.com is a good resource for those but some of the groups will also post here on Bigger Pockets Marketplace too. Those are the in person groups.  But even facebook might have some good local groups for you. Some of those facebook groups have thousands of members. And you don't have to be there in person (if the property is different from where you live). Oh, eventbrite too (another in person meeting site). But post locally for this. That’s the best bet.

Find local meet up groups. Full gut rehabs on a first deal is very risky. Those projects take hefty capital and time. Any rehab make sure you get a few bids to verify numbers. I would sway away from heavy projects as a newbie
