Is there anybody currently Fix & Flip investing in NJ, NY, CT , DE or PA that is able to provide in person mentorship and guidance? I'm ready to begin my REI journey and I'm looking for someone who can assist me through the beginning stages & growing pains in real time, and, also even a potential partner on deals I find down the line.

    Hi @Noah Brown  NJ House Hacking and live in fix and flips is what I specialized.  Question I have for you is why such a large area?  Are you really going to work with someone is DE then work with another person in CT?

      @Shawn Mcenteer nice ! Im from Bergen county and where are you from in Jersey if you don't mind me asking , I would love to meet up and talk more about everything and as far as working with people in other states I'm looking to stay in Jersey but if I can't find anything affordable/ feasible I absolutely would work with anybody in any local surrounding states,  I wouldn't mind at all . It would be  nothing but a drive away for me .

    Somehow you missed Alaska, Hawaii & Texas. (just joking) Your area is too big.

    I think you need to be more realistic in combining such a large territory and "able to provide in person mentorship and guidance" 

    My suggestions is to pick a few zip codes,

    go to a couple of REIAs and meet some people (NationalREIA.com) There are local people doing whatever it is you want to do.

    Alternatively, do what most people do and find someone who has a phone that they pick up and you can talk to, facetime, or otherwise communicate with. Real estate investing doesn't have to be a face to face activity.

    Hammering nails and learning to install carpet is face to face. That is not investing.

    Or. drive around your selected zip codes and look for people on the job fix & flipping and ask for the owner. Buy him lunch and ask your questions.
