Looking for good wholesalers in Charlotte MSA
Hey everyone,
I'm an out-of-state investor currently looking to build my portfolio in the Charlotte, NC market and surrounding MSA. My primary strategy is BRRRR, and I'm specifically looking for solid off-market opportunities where there's enough margin to make the numbers work.
One of the biggest challenges I’ve run into so far has been finding reputable wholesalers that I can actually trust.
There are plenty of companies out there marketing off-market deals, but after doing some digging I realized they have questionable and sometimes shady practices that made me uncomfortable. I’m not looking to bash any particular company, but I’ve become increasingly cautious about working with large marketplaces and wholesalers where the incentives don’t always seem aligned with the end buyer.
So I’m hoping to get some recommendations from investors who are actually buying in Charlotte/Mecklenburg and the surrounding MSA:
* Who are some wholesalers you’ve had consistently good experiences with?
* Are there any individual wholesalers or smaller shops you would personally vouch for?
* Any wholesalers you would specifically recommend for BRRRR-type properties?
I’m looking for honest numbers, clean transactions, good communication, and someone interested in building a long-term relationship with an investor.
If you’ve personally purchased multiple deals from a wholesaler in the Charlotte area and had a good experience, I’d really appreciate hearing who you’ve worked with.
