    getting a specific referral from someone else might not get you the best deal for your commercial multi-family property, especially for a new investor.

    instead of a specific agent, i'd recommend finding a good independent commercial insurance broker in ohio. they aren't tied to one company, so they can shop around with several carriers to find the best coverage and price for a 5-unit.

    they'll want details like the building's age, construction type, purchase price, and maybe your projected rents. make sure they understand it's a commercial multi-family policy, not a residential landlord policy.
