Utilities (water) submetering or RUBS (ratio utilization billing) in Saranac Lake, NY
Hello all, I've been [unsuccessfully] looking online for regulations around charging utilities to tenants in Saranac Lake, (upstate) NY. Already called local and county authorities but nobody is familiar with the subject. Even asking around to utility billing and submetering vendors, but they won't confirm or be liable for the response. I'm running out of ideas on how to find out whether I'm eventually going to be in trouble if I implement a water bill splitting process (or system).
