ill start, i have a duplex, upstairs were a mother and daughter turning tricks, while the downstairs transvestite tenant was getting into screaming matches with the johns as they walked out.

can you top it?

My tenant showed up at eviction hearing with entire church congregation - 75 plus members. Her defense was she could no longer work and earn money because God had chosen her to do unpaid church work only. When the judge told her she had 5 days to get out of the apartment, the congregation started speaking in tongues - I later was told they were putting a voodoo curse on the judge.

Sounds like you have a tenant screening issue.

Honestly those two things wouldn't bother me if rent was on time and the place was kept clean.

Am I the only one who giggled at the thought of a tenant turning tricks and still "keeping the place clean"? Riiiiiigggght. ;)

Lately my crazy issues have a theme of tenants with fur.. the eviction process is a bit problematic for these squatters....... first we have the beavers who keep building a dam to flood some of the parking, next the squirrel who though he would have a showing while the floor guy was refinishing the floor- I have a great mental image of this guy chasing the squirrel around the half done house. Last we have the chipmunks who thought it would be good to visit with some college students who did not welcome the company.... a little different flavor of crazy here..

Wow, I wonder if the congregation considered chipping in a few bucks each to pay rent. Did the court have extra security?
