Hello
Anyone keep their vacant rental properties air conditioned at a decent temperature for showings? Always wondered if you should because a potential tenant will not want to walk through with it 90 degrees in the house, however it will cost alot to keep the ac on and when its vacant why bother?
Just wondering how you do it or how important it is for showings to have a nice cool house in summer for showings.

Speaking from the viewpoint of a real estate agent who has shown properties in the middle of summer in FL please turn the AC on! I had a client walk into a house and immediately do a 180 right back out of the front door because it was unbearably hot. It doesn't have to be icy cold but set the thermostat to 72-74 degrees. The cost to you will be minimal.
