Where to find rental comps? In Fort Wayne, Indiana?

Hello Bigger Pockets Family,

My client has a portfolio of rentals in Fort Wayne Indiana that he is looking to purchase...

What would be the best way to find out the comparable rentals and comparable market value of properties in that area?

Do you have access to the MLS (or can you have an agent run some comps for you)? That is the best way to look for comps. Zillow can be helpful if you don't, just don't use the Zestimate. Look for the comparable sales, but make sure they are similar in terms of sq. footage, date sold, etc.

Contact an appraiser/broker that lives in Fort Wayne.

Mark McKibben/ Appraiser-Broker (Fort Wayne) I have 5 rentals here and have been in the business over 30 years.
