Hi BP community,
I have a questions with regard to my rentals. Is it legal to ask for a pay stubs from the tenants prior them signing the lease in Georgia. I have heard different opinions and I am not sure. Looking for the advise.

Google fake pay stubs. You'll quickly realize calling the potential tenant's hr dept is a necessity. Get the company's number from the Internet. Also in a small company the owner is often also the hr dept.

Take note of YTD on check stub. An applicant may say they have been at s job for three years and only have 2 months worth of income and it is mid August. It is a good idea at this time of year to see a W-2. Very revealing.
