What bothers me the most is the reaction of people who think that the landlord is a bad guy/gal, very rich, too greedy, etc... Happy to see that a few take the side of the landlords!
Will the new law help or hinder the availability of rental units? Will it slow rent increases? What do you think?

My guess is that it will tighten the supply of available rental unit, and will push the rent higher.
I haven't read the wording of this policy. Just wondering if that mean we are force to renew the lease. And it we are, on none rent control unit, can we just raise the rent really high so the undesired tenants would go away?
