Is there a site where can you do a background/credit check to show to landlords that they trust to apply for rentals? Let's say you are interested in several rentals but are moving from out of state or are doing a month-to-month lease where you may be renting in multiple locations in a short period of time.
Is there a site where you can just do ONE background/credit check and show it to landlords instead of having them do a separate background/credit check each time?
Thank you. This forum is extremely helpful as I will be a not only a future renter but landlord/investor/house hacker.

There is software out there that will allow you to approve your own screening report. Unfortunately I don't know of any that will allow you to look at the report or share it with multiple landlords.

Don't you guys think this is a good service/feature to have for tenants AND landlords? This just eliminates the hassle of having to do a background check every single time you apply for a rental. Some tenants might also not apply to so many rentals because of all of the background checks they may have to do for each one.

Zillow is trying this. One screening, good for 30 days no mater how many times you apply. Problem is, it's new and you have to find a landlord who uses it.

@Bryan T. I one hundred percent agree! It would streamline the application process for both the landlord and the applicant. I'm sure that this will be a feature that all of the landlord software companies will be adding in the near future!
