I am trying to rent out a unit in my triplex and my property manager listed it 2 weeks ago already. Being in a hot market, we thought it would be occupied right away. We had 10 showing but nobody has snatched it up yet. My question is how do you keep your property manger on top of refreshing your rental ad? I keep very close tabs on it and Zillow tells me it has not been refreshed since it was posted. I feel as if that is a huge loss in potential leads. Any help is greatly appreciated from my family here at BP. Thanks in advance.

@Evan DeVisser That seems a little odd that the property manager is not refreshing it. You mentioned it is a hot rental market, maybe recently they don’t usually have units sit on the market more than a week and simply haven’t thought to refresh it (not a good excuse, but possible). Would it feel weird to call the PM office & just say that you’re surprised it hasn’t rented & you want them to refresh the ads to help get it rented asap? I would want to talk to the PM anyway to see if they’re seeing a common reason/complaint why the prospects are not biting after the showing, or is it just that the applicants do not qualify or the price is a little high. @Evan DeVisser: not sure how hot your market is but with 10 showings and no one snatching it up, it seems like the PM may be doing at least an ok job getting people to look but the price may be a little to high for them to close on it.
Ask your PM if they are getting feedback from any of these tenants. Also in our market Facebook marketplace and Craigslist are much more lucrative than Zillow for finding tenants

Thank you everyone for the insight! I listened to a combination of all the advice given! We lowered the price, and I requested it be refreshed at a minimum every day! Hopefully we can get it rented soon!
