I own a % interest in a real estate investment portfolio in California (residential and commercial rentals). If I should sell my interest, how could I value it?
It would most likely be viewed as an investment security, so the income valuation approach would be given the most weight. View it as a bond, the purchase price to the yield on the investmant. Alsobe aware of SEC regulations in your transaction.......it's complicated, see your attorney!
