Rent Control and New Eviction laws in California

I went to an investor meeting yesterday where a Property Manager and a Real Estate Attorney presented the new Rent Control and Eviction laws that go into effect 1/1/20 in California. They said the eviction part of the law is worse than the rent control. It's going to be even harder to evict tenants. What do you guys think?

    @Robyn Green, I am sure glad you brought this up. It's a topic of great interest to me as I explore the house hacking strategy in California.

    Hope this thread becomes popular with BP members, and good dialog happens.

    Regardless of how a person invests, landlord laws impact all of us.
