Landlord wants to sell. No written lease.

A landlord contacted me. He wants to sell his house. He had tenants in the house but no written lease. Under California law, what are his options? Can he legally remove the tenants with 30days notice?

    @Account Closed  I don't know what the time period is for California normally.  Probably something like 60 days (as of the 1st of the month), but right now, it is going to be more challenging.

    In the event you try to evict a tenant with no-fault they are entitled to a relocation fee:

    If the price is right and the location makes sense, I’d be willing to consider an ‘as is’ purchase.

    @David Avetisyan I forgot to mention that the house is rent controlled. Does that change anything?
