Hello. I am not sure if this is "REI ETIQUETTE" but I figured I would ask. I am a NEWBIE investor closing on a 4 plex at the end of the month in Mississippi and I have 2 inherited tenants (1 leaving and 1 I want to renew possibly) but I do not yet have a Solid Lease. Anyone in mississippi want to reach out and let me borrow or copy their lease and not rip my head off with $? DM me. Thanks

@Breelon Bryant if you don't come up with any volunteers here. Just key that into an internet search and you will be pleasantly surprised-and it is free.

@Breelon Bryant you might get a variety of opinions but the leases from 'eforms' are used by many LL. Also......doesn't your pro membership give you LL documents? I use the standard lease from my State LL Association. They provide a variety of support and services including lots of networking (when covid if not happening) for 55 bucks a year. You likely have something similar in your area. All the best!

@Breelon Bryant Some jurisdictions-Seattle, NYC. LA etc have made many changes. Some places change by the week it seems. I don't know about your area. Why don't you compare your lease from a year ago to what you come up with on eforms. Zillow has leases on their site too.
@Susan Maneck how much did it cost? And is it state specific?
I think it was maybe $40. It wasn't state specific but Mississippi is pretty landlord friends. I think, for instance, they give you 45 days to return the deposit.
