DC Landlords and Property Owners - Unite to Petition Change

As a DC landlord and property owner, I have grown tired of the constant burden of red tape in the district which unfairly benefits those who know how to play the system.

I had the thought of joining up with other owners to see if we can form a group to petition the district to make the judgement and eviction process fair for us.

Anyone interested??

    @Alexander Biniam I feel like the ones who know how to play the system are also top donors to elected officials. I really think if you can get people to make big donations to your city council/local politicians then you will have a better chance of  accomplishing your goal.

    You will be like a man with a bucket trying to stop a waterfall. Getting 50 men and fifty buckets will still not stop the waterfall.

    the laws are very clear in DC. Follow them. There's nothing unfair about being educated about the law and following it.

     I agree, that is why I was asking who wants to join forces to do this.

    @Russell Brazil - The point is the law is too kind to the tenants and harsh to the landlords. I just think that if 30 or so folks formed a group we can make efforts and potentially make the process fairer to the landlords.

    If 50 people put $100 each that is $5,000. That is enough to get at least an opportunity to pitch a Ward member of our concerns.
