So, I've found a tenant that I like and want to screen them for Credit, background check, etc. What/who is everyone using for these reports. I've looked at Smartmove, but it seems that the potential tenant has to register an account and fill the information out online themselves.

I use YouCheckCredit.com and have been very happy with them. You can get the applicants actual detailed credit report, not just an approval/denial recommendation.

Good question a lot of people don't have email or a computer or know how to use them so elderly tenants just can't get an apt? There has to be other ways to screen
Social security checks come on time every time evey month that's steady automatic withdrawal from their CA monthly no muss no fuss
I own 2 Duplex properties in Albany Ny. I use Experian Connect it cost the tenant $14.95 I fill in the info that they (the tenants) provides me then Experian sends them a email notifying them I'm running the report and ask them (the tenant) to give me permission to review the report. so far this works for me but I'm open to try another company
