Insurance for rental property - Kissimmee FL

Hi there,

We've had a rental property in the Kissimmee 34744 area for the last 2 1/2 years. Our policy is up for renewal and our Insurer has increased the price from $1700 to $2700 (yearly). The dwelling price increased and is going to affect our cash flow. No vacancies, claims on our end.

Has anyone gone through something similar? Aside from that, I've also noted it was hard to get it insured because of the low fire coverage in the area. Any recommendations on what to do?

Hello @Oswaldo Andrade! We are property managers and haven't heard about such dramatic increases from our homeowners. I am happy to introduce you to two insurance companies that specialize in vacation rentals and are very familiar with the Kissimmee/Disney market. Feel free to send me a message.

Also, if you are curious about how your cash flow compares to other similar homes in the area, we can run a report on that as well assuming you are in one of the well-known vacation rental communities.

    Good luck!
