Property Management In Cleveland/Akron Suggestions/Advice

Hello,

I am looking to purchase my first investment property in Cleveland/Akron.

Does anyone have any good/great experiences with property managers in this area that they would share?

Any advice for out of staters looking to invest in this area?

Any words of wisdom?

We don’t know anyone in the area, but you might want to read our series about “How to Screen a PMC Better than a Tenant”, since selecting the wrong PMC is usually more harmful than selecting a bad tenant:

Additionally, don't treat property management like a commodity and just focus on the lowest price!

    Communication, communication, communication! Martin, you want a team that doesn’t just call you when things have already gone south. I do not have any recommendations in the area but would definitely tell you reviews matter. Reach out to others and see what their experience was or is like.

    Check out NARPM.org and search the area your looking for. If you get a PM that's in NARPM your likely to get a more educated person with high standards of ethics.
