Meet local real estate investors and adult family home (AFH) owners, Mary Javier and Nick Rucker.
Mary is a Registered Nurse delegator providing delegation services for caregivers working in the AFH setting. She also owns and operates NorthCare Training, a caregiver training school, certifying caregivers so they can work in AFHs, assisted living facility and hospitals. In addition to AFHs, she invests in multifamily properties out of state
Nick is a local investor, owning/co-owning 31 rentals in 5 states. His portfolio includes a mix of single-family, small multifamily, and a 13-unit. One of his single-family properties operates as an adult family home, where he is the landlord only.
Anyone can landlord an AFH, as long as they have a licensed operator to lease from them. Join us to learn how Mary and Nick have found success in real estate with adult family homes, as well pick their brain on how this strategy compares to investing out-of-state.
