Real estate investors throw around terms at a meeting as if everyone knows what they are talking about. But when you are brandy-new, you don’t know what you don’t know yet, and don’t even know what questions to ask.
Many are starting out in real estate and don’t know which where to start or on what type of real estate to focus. I get questions every day from borrowers and meeting attendees who are confused about where to begin. So I’ve put together a discussion to help beginners sort it out for themselves.
We will discuss: • Different types of involvement in real estate, such as wholesaling, rehabbing, buy and hold, etc • The skills required for each discipline • The relative risk associated with each type of investing • Examples of what a typical day is like
If you are sitting on the fence, and can’t figure out what kind of real estate is right for you, here is your chance to consider your options and ask questions. If you are currently working in real estate and want to join the conversation, please come with your experiences, and throw in your two cents. The presentation will be interactive, so bring your questions.
