H.I.T (Houston Investment Team) is a central (inner loop) meet up for Houston Texas. The name H.I.T. was born out of the foundational idea that Bigger Pockets promotes and that is being helpful to one another and being a "team" to each other as we embark on or further our real estate investment journey.
This meet up is for distinguished investor and the newbie as we all have things to gain and learn from each other.
Our third monthly meet up will be held at the Frontier Title Company. They graciously allowed us to use their fantastic office and conference room with views of downtown and memorial park. There won't be any sales pitches, guru bs, or items for sale. This is purely a meet up for like-minded people looking to share and grow with and through others.
Our third speaker will be a CPA based on an overwhelming consensus and need from our last few meetings. Our guest is known as the "Black Belt in Real Estate Taxation." Reducing IRS taxes for Real Estate investors, since 1996. Tax preparation, tax and business consultations, teaching, resolving IRS problems. He is giving his valuable time during the busiest time of the year so be sure to give and extra thank you!
Share in the comments if you plan to attend so I can get a good head count.
To building the best version of yourself...
Thank you for inviting me, @Matthew Gullo . I will be happy to answer any questions related to taxation, bookkeeping and real estate, as well as crack a few irrelevant jokes. Looking forward.
Thank you @Michael Plaks ! We are looking forward to your expertise and jokes. Cheers,
Unfortunately, I will be unable to attend this event due to a conflict of schedule. However, I am looking forward to next months!
Is this group strictly for people who conduct business in the inner loop?
@Danny Haddad it is not specific to inner loop. We discuss things all over town. Just a good way to meet like minded real estate focused people.
Last night's HIT meetup was amazing! It was great meeting you guys. I'll see you at the next one.
Thanks for a successful, informative meeting @Matthew Gullo
