Aloha Investors,

We will be having an interactive discussion on the wins and losses of fixing and flipping homes here in Hawaii. We will be going into a few "real world" case studies from beginning to end and citing some best practices and lessons learned specific to the Hawaii market (culture, coconut wireless, socioeconomic factors, etc.)


We will be serving food and drinks. Please be prepared to introduce yourself, let us know what you would like to create in real estate investing.

Hey Joel and Mary Ann, my name is Michael Williams and I'm currently living in St. Louis MO.  My wife (Chris) and I will be relocating back to our home in Mililani within the next year.  We are investors and look forward to connecting with like-minded people in Hawaii.

My research shows that MLS Days on Market is increasing, inventory is up, there are ~526 preforeclosures/foreclosures on Oahu. I've got monthly meetups starting in June at the Impact Hub HNL.     Thanks Jared!  Our goal/possibility would be to have a dedicated co-working space (in Honolulu) for our community of Investors/Partners to collaborate like we have in SoCal.  There  are  diamonds  to be mined here in Hawaii, although it does take grit and lots of aloha.  Acquiring the brick and mortar stuff is easy, however, finding like minded, like hearted, driven, unselfish people is the tough part.   A constant self check is a must.  See you on the 23rd!   Mahalo!  Joel

    Hey Joel, New to real estate investing and wanted to get more of a chance from local investors, and network with like minded people. Trying to start off with some wholesaling, and just trying to learn as much as i can from people with experience.

    Please feel free to attend my event on June 23rd at the Impact Hub (next to the New Whole Foods in Kakaako). It will be a good opportunity for you to network with other investors. Wholesaling is a good start if you can find off market deals that makes sense. It's easy to get discouraged here in Hawaii when it comes to Real Estate investing because efforts are long and "good deals" are very few. The key is to find an investor community you can work with and trust . When you do, stick with them.There are several REI groups here in Hawaii that focus on island as well as Out Of State (OOS) real restate investment deals. Please PM me if you have any questions.     @Joel Bongco Aloha from a fellow local IT guy. Unfortunately will be out camping with the family that weekend so I'll have to take a rain check. Look forward to linking up with local OOS investors mainly folks that may be targeting the Vegas/surrounding areas.
