Have you ever passed by a vacant building and wondered what you could do with it? Are you curious about developing larger, more complex projects? Do you like the character of that old mill or vacant office building, but don't know how it could be transformed?

For over 25 years, Barry Ganek,  has been working with corporate, private institutions and developers, to solve the challenges of new construction projects, renovations, and adaptive reuse. Barry is an accomplished architect, who takes tremendous pride in the ability to combine project requirements with creative imagination. Some of Bary's recent awards include: 2019 People's Preservation Choice Award and 2018 IDA 12th Annual International Design Award in Architecture/Renovation.

Speaking with him, Daniel Stroe is a local Worcester investor and real estate broker, who has founded various development and property management companies. Daniel has been involved in redevelopment and rehabilitation of historic and non-historic structures (medical, mills, schools, office buildings), has redeveloped over 75 single family homes in Central and Eastern Massachusetts, and has redeveloped and managed 100+ units in various income-producing multi-family properties.

Join us on June 18th, when architect Barry Ganek and investor Daniel Stroe will speak about: "Adaptive reuse of vacant commercial buildings".

You will hear:

* How to determine the best use and when being creative pays off

* Zoning issues: where the gold is

* Code issues, mistakes and opportunities
